I perform high-volume endoscopy of the oesophagus, stomach and colon every year. This helped me establish my technique to deliver high-quality and thorough examinations while keeping the discomfort to a minimum level. I use innovative techniques such as transnasal endoscopy and underwater colonoscopy to minimise discomfort.

My other passion is digestive ultrasound. During my training in Europe, I was trained to perform advanced ultrasound of the abdomen. I am a firm believer that ultrasound is a part of the clinical examination in specialised gastroenterology clinic. I find it helpful to see live images of your liver, gallbladder, pancreas, spleen and other organs. I find office ultrasound saves time and enriches my patients’ experience.
