About me

Dr. Maan Hasan is a consultant anaesthetist with over 30 years of experience, specialising in bariatric anaesthesia and peri-operative medicine. He has held consultant posts at University College London Hospitals, The London Clinic, The Wellington Hospital, and Clementine Churchill Hospital.

He led bariatric anaesthesia services at UCLH and Streamline Surgical and was previously responsible for enhanced recovery in colorectal surgery across several NHS trusts. Trained in Bristol and having held senior posts at St Thomas’ and Great Ormond Street, he combines clinical excellence with innovation.

Dr. Hasan has received multiple national awards, including the Nuffield Prize and a National Clinical Excellence Award, and holds international patents in anaesthesia and surgery. He has also served as an examiner and CPD assessor for the Royal College of Anaesthetists.
