About me
Mr Venkatesh Subramanian is a highly experienced Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with specialist expertise in reproductive medicine, fertility treatment, and advanced gynaecological ultrasound. Based at King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and King’s Fertility, he serves as Clinical Lead for Hysteroscopy and is the South London Mentor for hysteroscopy training. He also holds an Honorary Senior Lectureship at King’s College London.
Mr Subramanian offers a wide range of fertility and gynaecological services, including IVF, egg freezing, hysteroscopy, and the diagnosis and management of complex pelvic conditions. He has particular expertise in 3D pelvic ultrasound, endometriosis diagnosis, and HyCoSy procedures to assess tubal patency. His clinical excellence in ultrasound has been recognised by the Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists and the British Fertility Society.
He completed his medical degree at the University of Nottingham, followed by specialist training in the prestigious South London rotation. He holds postgraduate qualifications including MRCOG, MRCS, and an MPhil in reproductive surgical simulation. He is also accredited in assisted reproductive technology (ART) procedures by the British Fertility Society.
Alongside his clinical work, Mr Subramanian is actively involved in academic research and has published in leading journals such as the BMJ, BJOG, and Human Reproduction. He regularly presents at national and international conferences and has received multiple awards for his contributions to women’s health and fertility medicine.

He is also a Consultant in Reproductive Medicine at King’s Fertility, one of the UK’s leading centres for assisted conception, and holds an Honorary Senior Lectureship at King’s College London in recognition of his contributions to medical education and research.
