Expert Private Women's Health in London

Women’s health is rarely “one-size-fits-all”. Symptoms can overlap, change over time, and affect sleep, work, relationships and confidence. Our approach is structured and diagnostic-led: we identify what’s driving your symptoms, explain your options clearly, and build a plan that is practical, evidence-based, and tailored to you.

You can be seen by Mr. Oudai Ali (women’s health and gynaecology-focused care) and Dr Asif Naseem (Private GP with a subspecialty focus in women’s health). Together, they offer continuity across general medicine, hormonal health, and gynaecology-related concerns, with appropriate onward referral when required.

We commonly help with:

  • Irregular, painful or heavy periods

  • Pelvic pain, suspected endometriosis, ovarian cysts and fibroids

  • PCOS, hormonal imbalance, acne/hirsutism concerns

  • Contraception advice and planning (including coil/pill options)

  • Vaginal dryness, recurrent urinary symptoms, vulvovaginal discomfort

  • Perimenopause/menopause assessment and HRT planning where appropriate

  • Cervical screening concerns and abnormal result follow-up

  • Fertility planning and pre-conception health optimisation

FAQ — Women’s Health Clinic London (GP & Gynaecology-Focused Care)

Is Dr Oudai Ali available at LSDC Healthcare for women’s health care in London?

Yes. Dr Oudai Ali sees patients at LSDC Healthcare in London for women’s health assessment and gynaecology-focused care, including period concerns, pelvic symptoms, cervical screening follow-up and menopause care.

Is Dr Asif Naseem available as a Private GP with a women’s health subspecialty?

Yes. Dr Asif Naseem sees patients at LSDC Healthcare as a Private GP with a subspecialty focus in women’s health, supporting comprehensive assessment, investigations, treatment planning and continuity of care.

What is the difference between a women’s health GP appointment and a gynaecology-focused consultation?

A women’s health GP appointment can address both general medical and women’s health issues (including blood tests, medications, contraception advice and broader health screening). A gynaecology-focused consultation is ideal when symptoms are primarily pelvic, menstrual or cervix-related, or when specialist pathways are required. We help direct you to the most suitable clinician.

What symptoms should prompt an appointment at a women’s health clinic in London?

Common reasons include irregular or heavy periods, pelvic pain, pain with intercourse, abnormal bleeding, suspected PCOS, vaginal dryness or recurrent urinary symptoms, contraception concerns, menopause symptoms, or worries after cervical screening results.

Do you assess heavy periods and abnormal uterine bleeding?

Yes. We assess heavy or irregular bleeding with a structured history and examination, and may recommend investigations such as blood tests and pelvic imaging where appropriate, followed by a clear management plan tailored to your priorities.

Can you help with pelvic pain or suspected endometriosis?

Yes. Pelvic pain is assessed carefully to identify likely causes. Where endometriosis is suspected, we follow an evidence-based pathway that may include targeted imaging and discussion of medical management, with onward referral if specialist intervention is needed.

Do you assess and manage PCOS (polycystic ovary syndrome)?

Yes. We can assess symptoms suggestive of PCOS (such as irregular periods, acne, hair changes, or fertility concerns), arrange appropriate testing, and discuss management options based on your goals — whether symptom control or pregnancy planning.

Do you provide contraception advice and prescribing?

Yes. We offer personalised contraception counselling and can discuss options such as the combined pill, progestogen-only pill, implant, injection, and coils (IUD/IUS), helping you choose a method aligned with your health profile and preferences.

Can you help with perimenopause and menopause symptoms?

Yes. We provide structured menopause assessment and symptom management. Where clinically appropriate, hormone replacement therapy (HRT) can be discussed and prescribed with follow-up to optimise response and monitor safety.

Is HRT available, and is transdermal oestrogen safer for clot risk?

HRT may be offered after clinical assessment. If blood clot risk is a concern, transdermal oestrogen (patch, gel or spray) is often preferred over tablets. Your clinician will advise the safest option for your personal risk profile.

Do you treat vaginal dryness and urinary symptoms related to menopause?

Yes. Vaginal dryness, discomfort and some urinary symptoms can be linked to hormonal changes. Options may include local vaginal oestrogen and symptom-targeted treatments, depending on your assessment.

Can you help after an abnormal cervical screening result?

Yes. We review your results, explain what they mean, and advise the appropriate next steps. If colposcopy or further investigation is indicated, we guide you through the pathway and follow-up plan.

What tests might be recommended at a women’s health clinic?

Depending on your symptoms, we may recommend blood tests (including hormonal and general health markers), pelvic ultrasound, urine testing, swabs, or referral for further investigations where needed. You’ll receive a clear plan for timing, results and follow-up.

Is care confidential and discreet?

Yes. We prioritise privacy, discretion and clear communication. Your care plan is handled sensitively, with continuity across appointments and a structured approach to results and follow-up.

How do I book an appointment at LSDC Healthcare’s women’s health clinic in London?
